Pirate Harbor is a waterfront community along the Burnt Store Road corridor in Punta Gorda. Most of the homes are situated on canals with quick, direct access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. Pirate Harbor's location is very appealing to many who would like to split their time between Punta Gorda and Cape Coral. The fishing in and around Pirate Harbor is regarded by many to be among the best in the area.
The homes in Pirate Harbor vary greatly. Some are brand new and others are 20-25 years old. The architecture is also a mix with brand new Florida Style homes built next to Key West style bungalows and ranch homes. There are no deed restrictions within the community.
